RM-RBL Research Services Core

Overview of Services

The Rocky Mountain Regional Biocontainment Lab (RM-RBL), part of the NIH's network of Regional and National Biocontainment Labs, houses the RM-RBL Research Services Core. The Research Services Core provides training and instrumentation to support research which meets the mission and scope of the RM-RBL. The Core offers a combination of self-use instrumentation, as well as full-service project requests.

Available instrumentation and services include:

  • Consultation and training
  • MALDI and MALDI Imaging
  • LC-MS, including proteomics, metabolomics, and targeted assays
  • Confocal microscopy
  • Laser capture microdissection
  • Biorepository software
  • Bacterial culture using bioreactor
  • Chromatographic separation of biomolecules
  • In vivo imaging and image cytometry
